- A news
reporter for WPMI-TV on this past Monday's (June 1st) edition of their local midday news program referred to their main broadcast channel as "WPMI" rather than the way news reporters like her usually referred to it (by the brand name "Local 15") while promoting a special program of theirs that was set to be part of its programming later that day between 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. (the name of
the reporter was Katie Herrera; the name of the special program was "Surviving the Storm".
- According to a news release from the holding company (or parent company) of WEAR-TV, WFGX-TV, WPMI-TV, and WJTC-TV (the Sinclair Broadcast Group), dated last Wednesday, May 27th, the holding company of WNTM-AM, WKSJ-FM, WRKH-FM, WTKX-FM, and WRGV-FM (iHeartMedia) was set to have at least one of those stations promote a special nationally-syndicated TV program from the United Negro College Fund ("UNCF: An Evening of Stars") set to be broadcast by at least one of the aforementioned TV stations between today and the Sunday of this June 13th.
