- A radio announcer for WZEW-FM appeared on last Thursday's edition of WALA-TV's local entertainment and lifestyle program ("Studio 10") as part of a segment it had about a theater company's plan to have a series of theatrical performances based on a story titled "Fiddler on the Roof" (the name of the announcer was Gene Murrell).
- Today's edition of WPMI-TV's local midday news program ("Local 15 News at Noon") had a report about a new edition of a nationally-syndicated TV courtroom program that was set to be part of their main broadcast channel's programming today ("Judge Judy") having a court case involving folks from their local broadcast area ("locals") without any mention as to where from this area (their case was titled "Handyman on Holiday"). (update for Friday, June 12th: the area from which they came was mentioned in another report about the courtroom program on today's edition of WPMI-TV's local morning news program ("Local 15 Today"): Baldwin County, Alabama).
