• The main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV had local news programming during a time period in which it usually did not have local news programming on Saturday before then (it usually had a paid commercial program (or "infomercial") and a local TV program titled "SouthFitTV" during that time period) in accordance with their plan to have local news programming on Saturday and Sunday mornings on a regular basis beginning with this Saturday, June 20th (5:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.), and this Sunday, June 21st (6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.). 

• According to an administrator for the official Facebook page for WKRG-TV, a new weather reporter for WKRG-TV named Melissa Constanzer was to set to join their local news programming next Saturday morning (June 27th).   

• The main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV was set to have two network TV programs that were usually part of its Sunday programming today instead (between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.; the channel usually had paid commercial programming during this time period on Saturday before then) due to their plan to have local news programming in their former weekly time periods (7:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. for the program titled "All in with Laila Ali" and 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. for the one titled "Game Changers with Kevin Frazier") on a regular basis beginning this Sunday (the programs were part of a programming block titled "CBS Dream Team"; WKRG-TV usually had the first four programs of the block on their main broadcast channel on Saturday between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. before having the two programs mentioned earlier later the next day).
