• According to a news release dated last Wednesday, May 27th, by the holding company (or parent company) of WEAR-TV, WFGX-TV, WJTC-TV, and WPMI-TV (the Sinclair Broadcast Group) the company was set to have at one of those stations and TV stations in all of the other TV markets they serve broadcast a special nationally-syndicated TV program from the United Negro College Fund (the UNCF) between today and the Sunday of June 14th of this calendar year (the program would be titled "UNCF: An Evening of Stars").

• According to the World Wide Web sites Zap2it and TitanTV, WEAR-TV and WJTC-TV might have the type of TV program referenced in the previous paragraph broadcast simultaneously through their main broadcast channels* on the Saturday of this June 13th between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., while the network program that would be pre-empted by WEAR-TV's broadcast of the other program would be recorded for them to have on their main broadcast channel later the next day (Sunday, June 14th) between 1:36 a.m. and 3:36 a.m. (the name of the network program that would be pre-empted was "In a Instant"). (the main broadcast channel for WEAR-TV usually had network programming from the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) during this time period on Saturday while the main broadcast channel for WJTC-TV usually had a syndicated theatrical movie)
