- The second paragraph of the last report for this weblog ("News for Monday, June 8th, 2015") was corrected.
- Between 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. today, the digital sub-channel* that was added to WALA-TV's broadcast operation last Thursday, June 4th, had programming from the national TV programming service Cozi TV instead of a black image (it usually did by then; meaning it usually had no programming of any kind by then).
- The presenters for recent editions of local TV programs produced by WALA-TV (such as local news programs and their local entertainment and lifestyle program titled "Studio 10") told the audiences for those editions about their station's plans to have special network programming from the FOX Broadcasting Company on their main broadcast channel** both today and this past Monday, June 9th, and that it would take precedence over having new editions of their local 4:00 p.m. news program ("FOX 10 News at 4:00 p.m.") on those days (the special programming was about a series of soccer matches officiated by an organization known as the the Fédération Internationale de Football Association, or FIFA for short).
(**radio frequency channel 9-1/virtual channel 10-1)
