- The main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV had video of the host of a syndicated l TV program that was usually part of its regular programming plan for the hour of 3:00 p.m. for Monday through Friday in recent times (Wendy Williams of "The Wendy Williams Show") saying the name normally used in reference to WPMI-TV in some of the local news programming they had in recent times ("NBC 15") immediately after saying, "It's good to be" in its programming on the Sunday of the fifteenth day of this October.
- One of the cable TV channels in the cable TV system operated by Comcast Cablevision of Mobile that usually appeared to have the programming feed for WJTC-TV in recent times still appeared to have that feed (it had some graphics that included the letters "WJTC" over some of its programming) after a digital sub-channel with programming similar to it added to the broadcast operation for WFNA-TV sometime between the Wednesday of the eleventh day of October and the Friday of the thirteenth day of this October.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 11:00 p.m.* on the Thursday of the twelfth day of this October had an animated sequence and some superimposed graphics with "News 5 at 10:00" after having video of its weather reporter (Alan Sealls) referring to the program as "News 5 at 11:00" (the channel had special programming (concerning a game of football) from their main provider of network programming (the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)) during the hour of 10:00 p.m. before then.*)
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the twelfth day of this October ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") had its news presenter (Bill Riales) presenting a report concerning a sports reporter for their local news operation (Randy Patrick Setterstrom) temporarily joining a group named "Real Men Wear Pink" (for this October) wheres the one that appeared on the channel during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. later that Thursday ("WKRG News 5 at 5") had one of its news presenters (Peter Albrecht) presenting a report about the reporter helping decorate an automobile with the name of the group and the first and second parts of his full name in addition to one about his having joined the group whereas the one that appeared on the channel during the first half of the hour of 11:00 p.m. that Thursday had the reporter discussing his having joined the group and his helping decorate the automobile.
