- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the
twenty-fifth day of this October ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") had what
appeared to had been live video of a sports reporter for the local news operation at WALA-TV (Bri MacNaught)
hitting balls with a baseball bat before and after having some video of
a person identified by her as having been part of a baseball team named
the "LA Dodgers" (Todd Maulding).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Saturday of the
twenty-first day of this October ("WKRG News 5 at 10") had its news
presenter (Ashley Knight)
saying, "Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family during
this tough time" after presenting a report of a certain person having
died before having her referring to some former holders of the position
of
president of the United States by words words commonly used in referring
to members of certain political parties in the United States (the
Democratic Party and the Republican Party) while
presenting a report of their having attended a type of concert
(this is what she said while doing so: "Democrats Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, and
Jimmy Carter, and republicans George H. W. and George W. Bush, gathered
on stage in College Station, Texas, home of Texas A&M, putting aside
politics to try to unite the country after the storms").
