- According to a World Wide Web site named TVNewsCheck, WKRG-TV was set to be part of a test of a new syndicated TV news program titled "Top 30" for four calendar weeks beginning with this calendar week (according to the electronic guides to the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV provided by Zap2it, TV Guide, and Comcast, the program was set to be part of its programming from Tuesday through Saturday between 12:37 a.m. and 1:07 a.m.).
- The main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV had an advertisement with a past
logo for another TV station in their local broadcast area during one of
its commercial breaks for this past Tuesday on the seventh day of this
June (the name of the other TV station was WEAR-TV; as for what the
advertisement was about, it was about a publication based in the
aforementioned area (specifically the city of Pensacola in the state of
Florida) named Out Front Magazine).
- WKRG-TV had some harmonic vocals on their local news program for the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. ("WKRG News 5 This Morning") immediately after its news presenters (Jessica Taloney and Bill Riales respectively) said, "All clear, cue the angels", and, "Looks like smooth sailing right this minute", while talking about traffic conditions on the Jubilee Parkway bridge (also known as "The Bayway") over Mobile Bay for a new regular feature of the program titled "Bayway Report" (the same vocals were mentioned in the previous report for this weblog).*
(*the one named Bill Riales seemed to react to what the one named Jessica Taloney said by saying, "It seems silly sometimes" (she herself seemed to react to how he seemed to react to her by saying, "I love it")
