- I believe the reason WFNA-TV was set to have their own local news program dedicated to parts of their broadcast area in the state of Florida on a regular basis was so that their companion station (WKRG-TV), the one by which the program would be produced, could compete against the one produced by the companion station for WFGX-TV ("Channel 3 News at 9" from WEAR-TV) during the same time period (9:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.) in recent times.
- I wish one of the news presenters for the local news operation for WKRG-TV (Ashley Knight) had not said they were excited about the idea of a group of naval pilots from their broadcast area (The Blue Angels) performing aerial stunts over the city of Traverse City in the state of Michigan between the Saturday of the second day of this July and the Monday on the fourth day of July while presenting reports about the idea in their local news programming this past Saturday on the twenty-fifth day of this June.
- I wish some of the local news presenters for some of the local TV stations in Mobile (specifically WALA-TV and WPMI-TV) had not used the word "crowned" to describe how one of the contestants for the 59th national contest of the scholarship program formerly known as America's Junior Miss (Distinguished Young Women) was given the title of "Distinguished Young Woman of America" while presenting reports about her being given the title in their broadcasts for their respective stations between this past Saturday and this Sunday since no crown was used in the awarding of that title and since it may give some folks the idea that the contest was similar to a beauty contest.
