- WKRG-TV had a report about some members of their local news operation (including a news presenters named Ashley Knight and Bill Riales and a camera operator named Jason Garcia) teaching students in the Mobile County Public School System how to be broadcasters as part of a training program hosted by the system and a company named Seymour on their local news program for the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. ("WKRG News 5 This Morning") this past Thursday on the sixteenth day of this June.
- WALA-TV had some special local news programming on their live video stream while their main broadcast channel had golf programming from their main provider of network programming (the FOX Broadcasting Company) during a time period in which they usually had (live) local news programming (under the name "FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") on both the channel and stream on a daily basis (from Monday through Friday) in recent times this past Thursday (between 5:18 p.m. and 5:31 p.m).*
- WPMI-TV had some computerized graphics resembling human faces smiling and frowning (they were basically circular heads with mouths and circular eyes) in one of the weather forecasts (similar to this one) they had in their programming this past Thursday, specifically the local news programming they had between 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. ("Local 15 News at 5 p.m.") that day (the one with the frown was used for a day in the forecast with the highest high temperature prediction (this Friday) whereas the one with the smile was used for a day with the lowest high temperature prediction (next Monday: the twentieth day of this June)).
(update: they had some more special news programming on the stream while the channel had some more golf programming from their main provider of network programming this Friday (between 5:00 p.m. and 5:29 p.m.))
