News for Sunday, June 12th, 2016
- WKRG-TV had a video tribute to a former member of a naval aviation program based in their local broadcast area ("The Blue Angels") who died back on the second day of this June on their local 6:00 p.m. news program ("WKRG News 5 at 6") this past Saturday on the eleventh day of this June.
- The news presenter for this past Saturday's edition of the local news program mentioned in the first paragraph (Ashley Knight)
had presented one of its reports without mentioning the name of the
member of their broadcast operation who narrated it (it was mentioned in
the report by the narrator herself (Amber Gerard)) before actually doing so for their other local news program later that day ("WKRG News 5 at 10").
- WALA-TV had "breaking news" segments at the very beginnings of the first and second halves of their local news
program for Sunday mornings ("FOX 10 News in the Morning") and Sunday nights ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") this Sunday
instead of previews of some of the reports planned for their broadcasts this
Sunday and the opening sequence that was normally used at the
beginnings of their broadcasts in recent times.
