News for Wednesday, June 1st, 2016
- WKRG-TV and WALA-TV each had a member of their local news operation (Cassie Fambro of WKRG-TV; Chasity Byrd of WALA-TV) wish another member of their local news operation (Bill Riales of WKRG-TV; Joe Emer of WALA-TV) a happy birthday on one of their local TV programs ("WKRG News 5 This Morning" for WKRG-TV; "Studio 10" for WALA-TV) this Wednesday (both receivers of the birthday wishes were said to be "off" this Wednesday (or on vacation)).
- The member of the local news operation at WKRG-TV referenced at the beginning of the previous paragraph of this report had rarely appeared in their local news programming by the time mentioned in that paragraph; as for why she was in their local news programming back that time, she was in it to do a report about some comments from visitors of their official Facebook page concerning some news reports about police in the city of Cincinnati in the state of Ohio investigating two persons in connection to reports about a child of theirs being rescued from an ape at a zoo located in the city.
- The member of the local news operation at WALA-TV referenced at the beginning of the first paragraph of this report had initially addressed the other member of their local news operation mentioned in that paragraph by only his last name on the program mentioned in that paragraph this Wednesday before wishing him a happy birthday and mentioning his first name on the same program this Wednesday (she also admitted to having asked a producer for the program (Allison Bradley) if she, the producer, could "pull up any embarrassing photos or video" of him for the program before realizing there were "so many".
