News for Friday, June 24th, 2016 (amended)

• According to a Facebook messsage attributed to a new member of the local news operation for WKRG-TV named Hayley Minogue, both she and another new member of the operation named Katrice Nolan were set to be news reporters for a new local news program for their companion station (WFNA-TV).* 

• One of the radio announcers for WAVH-FM (Sean Sullivan) did some commentary on a local news program for WKRG-TV ("WKRG News 5 at 5 [p.m.]") this past Thursday on the twenty-third day of this June (he was commenting about some of the news mentioned on the program, specifically news related to the department of police in the city of Mobile).

• Some video of various rooms in the broadcast facility for WALA-TV was broadcast onto the official Facebook page for one of their news reporters (Lee Peck) and the one for their broadcast operation in general this past Wednesday on the twenty-second day of this June while one of their local news programs ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") was being broadcast through both their main TV channel and an Internet video service named Livestream.
