• Video recordings of some local news programming for WKRG-TV dating back to the year 1997 were uploaded onto a YouTube channel named "Spring Hill College Archives" this past May. 

• A video recording of various rooms within the broadcast facility for WKRG-TV in Mobile was uploaded onto a World Wide Web site named Instagram with a message about it being a "quick tour" of the facility.

• The previous call letters for a radio station in Mobile currently named WERM-AM were published on (paper and digital) ballots for an awards program officiated by a news organization based in Mobile named Lagniappe this past Wednesday on the first day of this June (the previous letters were "WTKD").
