- According to WALA-TV, technical problems prevented them from having a new edition of their local 4:00 p.m. news program ("FOX 10 News at 4:00 p.m.") today (their main broadcast channel had a nationally-syndicated discussion program titled "The Dr. Phil Show" in place of it while the problems were being resolved).
- According to a notice sent to customers of the cable TV system operated by Comcast Cablevision of Mobile, the system was set to begin having programming from a national cable TV and satellite TV programming service named Jewelry Television available through its Limited Basic level of programming instead of its Digital Starter level of programming by the Thursday of September 10th this year.
