News for Sunday, August 23rd, 2015 (amended)
- Today's editions of WKRG-TV's local 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. news programs ("WKRG News 5 at 5" and ) had previews of a new documentary of theirs set to appear on their main broadcast channel next Monday, August 24th, during a time period in which it usually had network programming from the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS) (the name of the program was "Hurricane Katrina: 10 Years Later"; the time period in which it was set to appear on the channel was 7:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.).
- According to the guides to the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV provided by TitanTV and TV Guide, the network program from the Columbia Broadcasting System that would not appear on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV next Monday due to their plan to have the aforementioned documentary in its place may appear on the channel later the next day during a time period in which it usually had "paid commercial programming" from Monday through Saturday (the name of the network program was "The Odd Couple"; the time period in which it was set to appear on the channel was 12:37 a.m. to 1:07 a.m.).
- The news presenter mentioned in the first paragraph of this report
cited a local TV station in Albany, New York with the same owners as his
by only their brand name ("News 10") and the phrase "sister station" in
the report mentioned in that paragraph (the proper name of the station
is WTEN-TV).
