- The main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV had a video about their history during one of its commercial breaks for today (this weblog had an article about the video being uploaded onto the World Wide Web site YouTube before its broadcast today).
- One of the news presenters for one of WKRG-TV's local news programs for Monday through Friday, specifically the one for the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. (Avery Cotton of "WKRG News 5 This Morning"), substituted for the news presenter for their local news program for Sunday mornings (Chad Petri of "WKRG News 5 This Morning: Sunday") during its broadcast for this Sunday between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.
- A local public affairs program for WZEW-FM named "Community Roundtable" was broadcast later than usual in their programming for this Sunday than on previous Sundays during the time period in which they usually had a national public affairs program on Sunday mornings: between 7:30 and 8:00 to be precise (they usually had the local public affairs program before a national one between 7:00 and 7:30 prior to this Sunday).
