• One of the hosts for WALA-TV's local entertainment and lifestyle program ("Studio 10") was interviewed for a news report that was part of today's edition of their local 5:00 p.m. news program ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m."); the one named Joe Emer to be precise. 

• A news reporter for WKRG-TV (Joseph Blake ("J. B.") Biunno) used his appearances in today's editions of their local 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. news programs ("WKRG News 5 at 5" and "WKRG News 5 at 6") to direct members of the public who may had been listening to his reports for those appearances to visit their official World Wide Web site for more details he said were "too gruesome" for the programs. 

• Between yesterday (Monday, August 3rd) and this morning, the cable TV system operated by Comcast Cablevision of Mobile started providing a digital TV programming guide to standard-definition and high-definitions digital transport adapters connected to it by then after having been without one for them by then (the system usually only provided such a guide to digital cable TV set-top boxes connected to it by then).
