Commentary: Offers and promotions for products made from living (or dead) creatures and acts of cruelty toward such creatures

If I were the owner and/or manager of a local TV station or a local radio station, I would not allow for it to be involved in any special offers or promotions involving meat or others products made from living (or dead) creatures other than humans due to my personal feelings concerning such products (I would consider them disgusting, inhumane, and unnecessary) and my feelings for other folks who might share those feelings (as for folks who might not share those feelings, I would suggest they reconsider their views of such products and the lives and feelings of creatures other than humans). I would also not allow for it to have any programming promoting of cruelty toward living creatures such as videos of news reports promoting the act of hunting living creatures (WKRG-TV often had videos of such reports involving crocodiles (or "alligators") in some of the local news programming produced for their broadcast operation in recent times) or videos with certain persons demonstrating hunting certain creatures other than humans (WALA-TV often had videos of such demonstrations in some of the local news programming produced for their broadcast operation in recent times (the videos were usually called "FOX 10 Outdoors" segments)).
(note: this commentary was inspired by what appeared to been some details pertaining to an offer involving turkeys on a World Wide Web site attributed to WABF-AM).
