News for Wednesday, November 8th, 2017

  • The main broadcast channel for WALA-TV usually did not have videos of advertisements between having one of their local news programs ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") and a syndicated program named "Jeopardy!" in recent times prior to this Wednesday.
  • The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. and the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. this Wednesday ("WKRG News 5 at Noon" and "WKRG News 5 at 10") each had a news presenter (Devon Walsh for the first one; Rose Ann Haven for the second one) referring to two candidates for the Senate of the United States from the state of Alabama (Doug Jones and Roy Moore) as if they were its only candidates from Alabama whereas there had been others from this state (the one named Devon Walsh had referred to them as "both candidates" whereas the one that named Rose Ann Haven had said the candidate named Roy Moore would be "facing" the one named Doug Jones in an election for the position of the Senate sought by them and the other candidates.
