News for Sunday, November 26th, 2017

  • The beginning of the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 6:00 a.m. this Sunday ("FOX 10 News at 6:00 a.m.") had an animated sequence that usually preceded announcements of "breaking news" in certain installments of it and those of other local news programs it had before then in recent times before having a news presenter (Asha Staples) saying, "We begin with breaking news at this hour. Hello, I'm Asha Staples" immediately after having it.
  • Some of the local news programming for WALA-TV since the Friday of the twenty-fourth day of this November had videos of various persons in uniforms identifying their selves by titles related to militaries before appearing to greet certain entities between animated sequences involving the words "SEASONS GREETINGS" and "SPONSORED BY AIRBUS") (note: they usually had such videos in some of the local news programming they had after the fourth Thursday of November and the last day of December in previous years in recent times). 
  • The broadcast frequencies for WZEW-FM and WAVH-FM and the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV each had special programming related to a game of football involving the football teams for the University of Alabama and Auburn University on the Saturday of the twenty-fifth day of this November (one of the announcers for the special programming on the frequency for WZEW-FM had identified it as being from the Crimson Tide Sports Network; one of the announcers in the special programming on the frequency for WAVH-FM had identified it as being from the Auburn Sports Network; the special programming on the channel for WKRG-TV appeared to had been from the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS (the main provider of network programming for WKRG-TV)). 
  • The beginnings of the local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. and the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Saturday of the twenty-fifth day of this November ("WKRG News 5 at 6" and "WKRG News 5 at 10") each had an animated sequence that usually preceded announcements of "breaking news" at the beginnings of certain installments that they and those of other local news programs it had before then in recent times instead of the animated sequences that usually preceded video of the news presenter or news presenters at the beginnings of other installments that they and the other programs it had before then in recent times before having a news presenter (Ashley Knight) announcing "breaking news" related to the game of football mentioned in the paragraph above this one (the outcome of it) immediately after having it.
