News for Friday, November 17th, 2017

  • A Facebook page attributed to WKRG-TV appeared to have had live video of one of the sports reporters for the local news operation at WKRG-TV (Randy Patrick Setterstrom) conducting an interview with an analyzer of the sport of football for their main provider of network programming (Aaron Taylor of the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)) on the Tuesday of the fourteenth day of this November.
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the sixteenth day of this November ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") had its weather reporter (John Nodar) appearing to walk off outside of the range of the camera used for him to appear in it while saying, "I tell you I'm running out of words after this many days of nice weather; I'm running out of words for mild and pleasant" before having him back with a book and his saying, "But that's where the weather thesaurus comes in. So let's see it is going to be temperate, untroubled, peaceful, balmy, gentle, moderate, mellow, and refreshing, so that's our weather for today and probably the next couple of days".
  • Some of the local news programming WKRG-TV had on their main broadcast channel since the Tuesday of the fourteenth day of this November had some members of their news operation presenting details of a plan for it to have a certain type of show (a "Battle for Braggin' Rights" show) "taped" at a certain casino/hotel in the city of Atmore in southwest Alabama (the Wind Creek Casino and Hotel) this Friday (they also appeared to had been suggesting donating toys considered "new" and "unwrapped" for a certain "toy drive" (the "Magical Christmas Toy Drive") and getting autographs from a certain Bobby Humphrey and a certain Joe Cribbs set to host the "show" before staying for the show itself (at least one of those contributors said the Bobby Humphrey and Joe Cribbs were "running backs" whereas at least one of them said two sports reporters for the operation (Randy Patrick Setterstrom and Robby Baker) would be hosting it with them)
