- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 6:00 a.m. on the Sunday of the twelfth day of this November ("FOX 10 News at 6:00 a.m.") had its news presenter (Asha Staples) appearing to wish its weather reporter (Matt Barrentine) a "happy belated birthday".
- The main programming feed for WBLX-FM had an announcement of a certain
type of event planned for the Thursday of the ninth day of this November
near the end of a
certain installment of a local radio program dedicated to discussing
news and public affairs ("In Touch Gulf Coast") during the first half of
the hour of 7:00 a.m. this Sunday.
- The local news program that
appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Friday of the tenth day of this November ("FOX 10 News at 5:00
p.m.") appeared to have one of its news presenters (Lenise Ligon)
referring to a member of a national TV programming service named the FOX News Channel as "FOX's Lauren Blanchard"
while introducing video of a news report in which a person identified
as that member had her ending it as if she were a member of the local
news operation at WALA-TV (she was saying, "In Washington, Lauren
Blanchard, FOX News").
