  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. on the Monday of the thirteenth day of this November ("WKRG News 5 at 6") had one of the news presenters and news reporters for the local news operation at WKRG-TV (Peter Albrecht) saying the football teams for the University of Alabama and Auburn University would be "fine-tuning things this Saturday against cupcakes at home ['Bama hosts Mercer; Auburn hosts Louisiana-Monroe; both are early games with 11 o'clock kickoffs']" while presenting a report related to them (he was doing so for a part of the program dedicated to sports ("Sports Preview")).
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 4:00 a.m. and the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on the Tuesday of the fourteenth day of this November ("WKRG News 5 This Morning") had a member of the news operation at WKRG-TV who was not usually one of its news presenters since the 2015 (Devon Walsh) be one of its news presenters in this installment of it (she was usually one of the news presenters for the local news programs that appeared on the channel during the first half of the hour of 9:00 a.m. ("WKRG News 5 at 9"), the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. ("WKRG News 5 at 5") before then in recent times).
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. this Tuesday ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") had its news presenters (Bob Grip and Lenise Ligon) presenting a report of a plan for certain members of WALA-TV other than their selves (Joe Emer, Bri MacNaught, and Hal Scheurich) to have a special ("half-hour") program concerning a certain type of game of football game usually held in a yearly basis in recent times (one involving the football teams for the University of Alabama and Auburn University) broadcast on the Thursday of the twenty-third day of this November (during the first half of the hour of 9:00 a.m.)*, the Friday of the twenty-fourth day of this November (during the first half of the hour of 4:00 p.m.), and the Saturday of twenty-fifth day of this November (during the first half of the hour of 9:00 a.m.).
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel during the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Monday of the thirteenth day of this November ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") had one of its news presenters (Bob Grip) appearing to make a suggestion for certain members of its audience (this is what he said that included that suggestion: "Republicans are taking part in kind of a circular firing squad when it comes to the Senate candidacy of Judge Roy Moore Now keep in mind if you  have children in the room, you may want to send them out. While nationally-known republicans are calling for Moore to drop out of the race (for the Senate of the United States), republican leaders in the state are either keeping silent or urging Moore to continue the fight against his democratic opponent. Just this afternoon, days after the first reports surfaced of alleged sexual misconduct against a minor, another woman stepped forward, and again, I want to warn you, what she described is graphic")
(*one of the news presenter had actually referred to this day as "Thanksgiving")
