News for Thursday, November 16th, 2017

  • A World Wide Web site attributed to WPMI-TV appeared to have a video of a news report involving on the radio stations in their local broadcast area (WAVH-FM) with an article related to the report itself dated for the Tuesday of the fourteenth day of this November.
  • A World Wide Web site attributed to WALA-TV had a video of what appeared to had been one of the weather reporters for the local news operation at WALA-TV (Matt Barrentine) visiting a school in their local broadcast area with an article related to it dated for the Tuesday of the fourteenth day of this November. 
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. this Wednesday ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") had video of a news report involving a member of the local news operation at WALA-TV who was usually only a news presenter for the news programming they had during the morning hours of Monday through Friday in recent times (Eric Reynolds).* 
  • The main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV had special news programming (involving news presenters for the local news operation at WPMI-TV (Greg Peterson and Kym (Thurman) Anderson) concerning a certain news conference at a time when it was usually set to have a syndicated program named "Judge Judy" between the morning and evening hours of Monday through Friday in recent times (the first half of the hour of 4:00 p.m.) on the Wednesday of the fifteenth day of this November (note: the special news programming was during the first eight minutes of that period of time). 
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. this Wednesday ("WKRG News 5 at 10") had one of its news presenters (Rose Ann Haven) saying a "sister station" of theirs "stood patiently outside" of what she had said were "closed doors" for a certain committee ("the Republican National Committee") before introducing what appeared to been live video of a news report by a member of that very station (Jack Royer of WIAT-TV in the city of Birmingham in central Alabama) appeared to had been a remote location separate from hers.  
(*a Facebook page attributed to WALA-TV appeared to have had a live video in which one of the other news presenters for the news operation at WALA-TV (Lenise Ligon) had said the one named Eric Reynolds had been "working" on this report (she had actually said "story") for "some time")  

(**WKRG-TV and WIAT-TV were related to each other due to their being members of a holding company named the Nexstar Media Group)
