News for Friday, April 13th, 2018

  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the twelfth day of this April ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had a profile of a certain person in which phrases such as, "Austin Perine for president -- leading the USA with love" and, "He's definitely got my vote" were being used as part of its narrative.
  • One of the parts of the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the eleventh day of this April ("WKRG News 5 at 6:30") appeared to have had video of one of its reporters (a sports reporter named Robby Baker) without audio before having both video and audio of the same reporter in the same location in which he appeared in the other video for its last part (the last part of it (note: the last parts of its broadcasts before then not usually related to sports before then whereas the parts that usually preceded them before then were usually related to sports)).
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the twelfth day of this April ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its reporters (Byron Day) discussing reports of two debates involving candidates for the position of governor of the Alabama (for some political parties named "Republican" and "Democratic" respectively) while having videos of both of them whereas the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. later that Thursday ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Peter Albrecht) presenting other reports of such debates while having video of only one of them (the one described as "Republican"). 
  • The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the eleventh day of this April ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m." and "FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") each appeared to have had a news presenter of theirs (Lenise Ligon) presenting reports of certain events involving a certain facility of theirs (note #1: the first program mentioned appeared to have had her saying, "Two CPR classes" whereas the second program appeared to have had her saying, "Two CPR training sessions" and, "Several members of the FOX 10 team taking part in this training, including our chief engineer Reno, our Web producer Cassandra, and the newest member of our family, Byron Day -- me too, there I am pumping away" (note #2: the first program mentioned appeared to have had her and its other news presenter (Byron Day) presenting a report of a "CPR kit" being donated to a certain school immediately before having her appearing to present the report involving the phrase "Two CPR classes" (note #3: a World Wide Web site related to WALA-TV appeared to have had a video of a report similar to the ones mentioned earlier in this paragraph))). 
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the eleventh day of this April ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Rose Ann Haven) saying, "The Escambia County Florida Sheriff's office wants you to know how important dispatchers are when it comes to saving lives -- News 5's Bryant Clerkley is outside the sheriff's office -- and Bryant, what do officials call dispatchers?" and video of a certain person saying, "Officials at the sheriff's office say that dispatchers are like guardian angels for deputies" immediately afterwards; video of one of its reporters (a sports reporter named Robby Baker) asking one of its other reporters (a weather reporter named Thomas Geboy), "And since you're -- you got the hat -- you're officially a Blue Wahoos fan now -- now could you give me and the folks at home the official Blue Wahoos call, please?" and the other reporter saying, "Wahoo!" immediately afterwards (note: the reporter named Robby Baker appeared to had said, "Hey, add some heart to it -- I'd believed it" and the one named Thomas Geboy saying, "Got to add a little emphasis to it" immediately afterwards); video of the news presenter mentioned earlier saying, "And we want to know your opinions, so we posted this question on our Facebook page: We asked, 'Do you think people who receive welfare should be required to work? Yes or no?" immediately after presenting a report involving the word "welfare" before before to have had  audio of her saying "bizarre" and "good news" for a report of a certain accident; and video of its sports reporter (Randy Patrick Setterstrom) saying, "Those Minnesota fans tonight are smiling and you're one of them" to its other news presenter (Peter Albrecht) and the news presenter saying, "They won't be smiling for long because Houston will get the broom out on them" immediately afterwards (note #2: the program appeared to have had the reporter named Randy Patrick Setterstrom saying, "Oh give them a break" immediately afterwards).
