  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Tuesday of the seventeenth day of this April appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Lenise Ligon) saying, "FOX 10 News reporter Alexa Knowles on this crazy story for you tonight" before having the "Alexa Knowles" mentioned by her. 
  • A local TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 a.m. on the Tuesday of the seventeenth day of this April ("Studio 10") appeared to have had its hosts (Joe Emer) discussing a type of "challenge" named "the lemon-face challenge" and proceeding to accept it with its other host (Chasity Byrd) and one of its guests (Matt Barrentine).
  • Some of the local news programming WKRG-TV had on their main broadcast channel since the Saturday of the fourteenth day of this April appeared to have had various reporters for their news operation each holding a microphone with a certain design (a white block with a blue number five) unlike that of the design that usually appeared on the microphone or microphones that they other reporters for the operation appeared to had been using for the local news programming they had on their channel before this month of April in recent times (a blue block with a white and blue number five).
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. on the Tuesday of the seventeenth day of this April ("WKRG News 5 at 6") appeared to have had one of its reporters (a sports reporter named Randy Patrick Setterstrom) saying, "All right, it's another year and another night with Nick...and that's all you need to say in the state of Alabama. We know who that is and it's not Santa Claus. Right? Saban in town tonight; also joining the coach at the Mobile Convention Center: ESPN's Lee Corso. Who's he? Oh, yeah, you know the guy".
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Monday of the sixteenth day of this April ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had its news presenter (Lenise Ligon) saying, "Plenty of bad guys doing bad things out there and then there's the stuff that you just can't make up that's part of MPD's weekend crime report. Byron Day in the newsroom with that story. Hi Byron" and the "Byron Day" mentioned by her saying, "Hi there, Lenise. A lot of of head shaking stuff going on in Mobile over the past weekend. Here's our first contestant: twenty-four-year-old Daniel Blackenberg. Police tell us he was caught with a boat on Government Street over the weekend." immediately afterwards.
  • A Facebook page related to a certain member of the broadcast operation for WFNA-TV (a promoter of it named Victoria (Tori) Blackmon) appeared to had been used by its administration to upload a video of her saying, "Sit back, relax, with a delicious refreshing Pepsi and enjoy tonight's season finale. This is the Pepsi for every generation" with a message related to it involving a brand name (or nickname) for WFNA-TV ("The Gulf Coast CW") on the Tuesday of the seventeenth day of this April (note #1: the message and the video appeared to had been shared with a Facebook page related to WKRG-TV by its own administration afterwards that day (note #2: WFNA-TV and WKRG-TV were related to each other due to their being members of a holding company named the Nexstar Media Group)).
