News for Monday, April 2nd, 2018

  • A Facebook page related to a TV program named "WKRP in Cincinnati" appeared to have a message related to WKRG-TV attributed to one of its contributors dated for the Thursday of the first day of the month of February for this calendar year.
  • Some programming feeds related to WDLT-FM and WBLX-FM each had a discussion regarding a certain type of campaign related to them (and WABD-FM) for a radio program dedicated to discussing news and certain  on the Sunday of the first day of this April (note: all of them were related to each other due to their part of a company named Cumulus Media
  • The main broadcast channel for WALA-TV appeared to have had a video involving a logo for their news operation appearing below some text of "CHANGE IS COMING" and above some text of "AT 5PM AND 10PM" before having some text of "TUESDAY APRIL 3" appearing separately from them between some of the news programming and syndicated programming it had this Monday.
  • The main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV appeared to have had a video related to Easter and an organization named Volunteers of America Southeast immediately after having a video of an interview related to Easter for a local news program (named "WKRG News 5 This Morning: Sunday") and a video with audio of an announcement related to the part of the program with the interview ("Faith Time") and the organization itself during the hour of 6:00 a.m. on the Sunday of the first day of this month of April.
  • at appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. this Monday ("WKRG News 5 at 6") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Rose Ann Haven) saying, "Breaking right now: the man who turned himself in connection to a weekend homicide outside of One-Stop Gas Station on Zeigler Boulevard is being escorted to Mobile Metro Jail", its other news presenter (Peter Albrecht) saying, "Here's a live look at Michael Bonner being taken away; he's charged in the death of Kareem Murphy who was shot and killed Friday night -- Bonner turned himself in about four thirty this afternoon" immediately afterwards before having the first news presenter mentioned saying, "More breaking news tonight: a murder suspect has turned himself into Mobile Metro Jail -- Michael Bonner charged in the death of Coreen Murphy, who was shot and killed Friday night. News 5's Mary Smith is at police headquarters with details", and one of its reporters saying, "The sheriff's office Web site forty-year-old Michael Bonner turned himself in around four thirty this afternoon" immediately afterwards in that order.
