The main broadcast channels for WKRG-TV and WEAR-TV each appeared to
have had special programming involving digital maps and audio of reports
related to weather and a digital box of special programming related to
sports (golf and basketball respectively) from their respective primary
providers of network programming (the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS) and the American Broadcasting Company (ABC)
respectively) being broadcast without audio sometime between the
beginning of the hour of 2:00 p.m. and the end of the hour of 5:00 p.m.
on the Sunday of the twenty-fourth day of this April.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Thursday
of the nineteenth day of this April ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to
have had one of its news presenters (Rose Ann Haven) saying, "Corey
Davis from our sister station WFLA reports now live with the latest"
before having video of a certain person and some digital graphics with
text of "Corey Davis" (note #1: WKRG-TV appeared to had been related to a TV station named WFLA-TV by then in recent times (note #2: both of them were members of a company named the Nexstar Media Group)).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 7:00 a.m. on the Sunday of the twenty-second day of this April ("FOX 10 News at 7:00 a.m.") appeared to have had its news presenter (Asha Staples) saying, "Verne Troyer, the actor best known for playing Mini-Me in the 'Austin Powers' films has died. Troyer's death was announced yesterday in a statement on his -- the actor's -- verified Facebook page. The cause of death was not revealed, but the statement mentioned that Troyer had been dealing with a, quote, recent time of adversity. Troyer was one of the shortest people in the world standing just two feet eight inches tall, but he achieved success as an actor; having appeared in more than two dozen films. Now we caught up with Troyer at Pensacon last year to talk about his time during the 'Austin Powers' film. Take a listen" before appearing to have had a video involving a certain person speaking into a microphone with a logo for WALA-TV and some digital graphics with texts of 'VERNE TROYER DIES AT 49' and 'ACTOR APPEARED IN MORE THAN 2 DOZEN FILMS' " (note: the program appeared to have had audio of the news presenter saying, "Troyer was forty-nine years old" immediately after that video).
- The
local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Monday of
the twenty-third day of this April ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.")
appeared to have audio of one of its news presenters (Lenise Ligon)
saying, "It's a story sweeping media outlets throughout the nation and
it happened right here in Mobile County", its other news presenter
(Byron Day), "A woman arrested in a Saraland Waffle House this past
weekend all caught on camera", the news presenter mentioned earlier
saying, "And now police are releasing new details and some of it is
rather shocking, Alexa Knowles has been following the story for you.
Joins us now live in the newsroom.", the one mentioned afterwards saying,
"Alexa, investigators are being very descriptive about what happened
before the woman was arrested", and the aforementioned "Alexa Knowles" saying, "Are they ever,
Byron -- the detective on the case basically gave us a word-for-word
account of the woman's profanity-laced tirade aimed at Waffle House
employees. In addition to that -- witnesses also said the woman was
drunk. Tonight, Saraland PD using that evidence and more to say the
arrest was justified".
- The
local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. this Monday ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have its news
presenter (Lenise Ligon) saying, "And so we've heard from police in
Saraland about the incident as well as the protestors, what do you
think? We're introducing a new feature on 'FOX 10 News' at nine called 'Sound Off'.

appeared to have had another news presenter of theirs (Byron Day) presenting statements similar to the ones attributed to the news presenter mentioned earlier in this paragraph ("Ok we've heard from Saraland Police about this incident
as well as
the protestors and Waffle House corporate, so what do you think? We want
