- One of the news presenters for the local 5:00 p.m. news program for WALA-TV ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.) had referred to a local TV station in Atlanta, Georgia (WAGA-TV) by only their brand name ("FOX 5") while presenting a report about the station for the program today (the brand name was similar to theirs ("FOX 10") and used by other stations affiliated with the FOX Broadcasting Company).
- WPMI-TV had reports about today being the 20th anniversary of the day their broadcast operation switched from being affiliated with the FOX Broadcasting Company to being affiliated with the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) in their local news programming today (the report they had on their local 6:00 p.m. news program ("Local 15 News at 6 p.m.") had video recordings of promotional advertisement from the time their operation was affiliated with the FOX Broadcasting Company along with video of an interview of an employee of theirs from the time of the switch unlike the one they had in their local news program for 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. ("Local 15 Today")*
