• A local radio announcer for WAVH-FM was part of a news report that WKRG-TV had in their local news programming this past Wednesday (January 6th) and Thursday (January 7th) (the report was about a poll concerning candidates for the presidency of the United States; the name of the announcer was Sean Sullivan). 

• One of the cable TV channels in the cable TV system operated by Comcast Cablevision of Mobile became inaccessible to digital transport adapters that may be connected to the system (the channel usually had programming from a national TV programming service named Pop; as for whether the channel was still accessible through the system at all, it was still accessible to cable TV set-top boxes that may be connected to the system). 

• WALA-TV had video of a sports reporter for a local TV station in South Carolina (Aaron Cheslock of WHNS-TV in Greenville, South Carolina) on a monitor doing what appeared to be a live report from a remote location for their own sports reporter (Michael Brannon) on one of their local news programs ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") this past Tuesday, January 5th (the reporter named Michael Brannon referred to the station named WHNS-TV by only their brand ("FOX Carolina") while introducing and parting ways with the reporter named Aaron Cheslock on the program; as for what the report was about, it was about plans for holding a football game between the football teams of the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina next Monday, January 11th).
