- WKRG-TV had the host of a syndicated TV program based in Mobile (Danny Lipford of "Today's Homeowner") appear on the set of their local news programs for a segment of this past Sunday's edition of their local news program for Sunday mornings ("WKRG News 5 This Morning: Sunday") (it was for a regular series of segments for the program for advice on improving a home; "Ask Danny Lipford" was its name).

According to Alabama Public Television, one of the programming feeds for one of the digital sub-channels of each of their TV stations (southwest Alabama had one of those stations: WEIQ-TV) had one of their own programs (a documentary titled "Jeremiah Denton") instead of a national program (an episode of a series of documentaries named "Prohibition") during a time period in which it usually had a national program on a daily basis before then (6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.)*
(*the feed was usually set to have programs from a national TV programming service named
Create TV from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and a live programming feed for a national TV programming service named
World from 6:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. before then. If it still had been set to begin having programming from World at 6:00 p.m. this past Sunday, it probably would have had only half of the program that was set to be on the live programming feed for World around that time since it was set to have the program from 5:00 p.m. until shortly before 7:00 p.m. that day).
