- A new local radio program dedicated to public affairs named "In Touch Gulf Coast" recently took the places of another local radio program dedicated to public affairs named "Community Corner" in the regular programming plans for WBLX-FM, WDLT-FM, WABD-FM, and WXQW-AM (they usually had "Community Corner" in their programming on Sunday until this January).
from one of the authors of a former World Wide Web site named Examiner.com, specifically two sections of it that were part of its existence: "Mobile (Alabama) TV Examiner" and "Mobile (Alabama) Radio Examiner" (note: this site could have certain features that could be seen without certain programs blocking them; each period of time mentioned on this site without any indication of the time zone to which it applied was a period of time for the Central time zone of the United States)
