News for Wednesday, January 27th, 2016
- Today's edition of WPMI-TV's local 5:00 p.m. news program ("Local 15 News at 5 pm") had a report
about their plans to have special programming about Carnival parades expected to
occur in Mobile's down-town area between today and the ninth day of next
February (the second Tuesday for that month).
- Today's edition of WALA-TV's local entertainment and lifestyle program ("Studio 10") had an interview
with a resident of their local broadcast area about his being a
contestant on a national TV program named "Redneck Island" in recent
times (his name was Cody Davis of Elberta in southwest Alabama).
- One of the weather reporters for the local news operation at WKRG-TV appeared to express amusement while using a weather segment for their local midday news program ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") to present a "time-lapse video" of clouds that included a moving ship before replaying it on the program (the name of the weather reporter was John Nodar).
