News for Saturday, January 9th, 2016
- The main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV had an promotional advertisement with a message about "a familiar face" returning to their local news program for the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. program on the third Monday of this January as part of its 18th day for the current calendar year (the name of the program was "WKRG News 5 This Morning"; as for the message, it was, "A familiar face comes back to News 5 This Morning to start your day").
- According to the guides to the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV on the World Wide Web sites named Zap2it, TitanTV, and TV Guide, the channel was set to have an edition of a nationally-syndicated TV program that was usually part of its programming plan for Saturday during a time period earlier than the one it was given as part of that plan this Saturday (this meant it was set to appear on the channel between 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. instead of between 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.) due to their plan to have football programming from their main provider of network programming on the channel during the regular time period this Saturday (the name of the nationally-syndicated program was "Today's Homeowner" and the name of the provider of network programming was the Columbia Broadcasting System (they were usually called "CBS" for brevity or shortness)).
