News for Saturday, January 16th, 2016

• WPMI-TV had reports about their having a plan to host a public meeting next February (one of those reports was part of their local news programming).   

• The official YouTube channel for a TV station with the same brand name as WALA-TV ("FOX 10") had a live video stream of a campaign rally for one of the candidates for the presidency of the United States (the one named Donald Trump) that occurred in the local broadcast area for WALA-TV this past Wednesday (the 13th day of this January).*

• WPMI-TV had reports about a plan for the digital sub-channel of their companion station (WJTC-TV) being set to have special programming from a TV station outside of their local broadcast areas (WJLA-TV in the District of Columbia) expected to come next Tuesday on the 19th day of this January (some of those reports were in WPMI-TV's local news programming, including one in which the sub-channel was erroneously called by one of the names of its main provider of programming (Grit TV).
