- The last segment of the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. this Monday ("WKRG News 5 at 10:00") appeared on the channel for less than one second (while its news presenter (Rose Ann Haven) was speaking) before being replaced by a commercial advertisement as part of its programming.
- The main broadcast channel WPMI-TV had special local weather programming take precedence over special network programming (including programming about a parade in the city of Pasadena in the state of California named "The Tournament of Roses Parade" and a professional hockey game named "The Winter Classic") from their main provider of network programming (the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) several times this Monday (some of the special weather programming included a box with video of some of the network programming about the hockey game).
- The member of the local news operation at WPMI-TV who usually
presented news for the local news program that usually appeared on the
main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV during the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. from
Monday through Friday in recent times (Darwin Singleton
of "Local 15 Today") used some of the segments that appeared on the channel this Monday to tell its audience that its regular weather
reporter (Kelly Foster) was his "new, permanent co-anchor" (or partner) for its broadcasts (she was still its weather reporter).*
(*she was his "co-anchor" for previous editions of it after the last person to do so (Kelly Jones) left the program
last September).
