- The main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV had a local news segment at the time when it usually had the beginning of a programming block from their main provider of network programming on Saturday mornings in recent times this Saturday before having a commercial advertisement that was interrupted by the programming block all ready in progress (the name of the programming block was "CBS Dream Team"; the name of the provider was the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS); as for the beginning of the programming block, it was at the beginning of the hour of 8:00 a.m.).
- The main broadcast channel for WEAR-TV was set to have a theatrical
movie not from their main provider of network programming (the American
Broadcasting Company (ABC)) in a time period not normally used for such
movies of any source in its programming plans in
recent times this Saturday (the name of the movie was
"Lake City" (originally released in the year 2008); as for
the time period in which the movie was set to be part of its programming
this Saturday, it was between the beginning of the second half of the
hour
of 1:00 p.m. and the beginning of the second half of the hour of 3:00
p.m.).
- The Cable News Network (CNN) had a report about a person who appeared to
admire one of the weather reporters for the local news operation at
WALA-TV (Jason Smith) in a video used for news reports about him for WALA-TV earlier this calendar week (the report from CNN was part of the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WALA-TV during the hour of 4:00 p.m. this past Friday on the
thirtieth day of this December ("FOX 10 News at 4:00 p.m.") and the one that appeared on the channel during the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. this Saturday ("FOX 10 News in the Morning" ("weekend" version)) (the news
presenters for the program (Lenise Ligon for the one for this past Friday; Alexa Knowles for the one for this Saturday) both said the person for which the report from CNN
about was "making his international debut in the Jason Smith costume he
got for Christmas")).
