- One of the hosts of a local TV program dedicated to entertainment
and lifestyles that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV
this Wednesday (Joe Emer of "Studio 10") said "technical difficulties" prevented the program from being "on the air" (or on the channel) for part of its regular time period for being "on the air" from Monday through Friday (the hour of 9:00 a.m.) this past Tuesday on the tenth day of this January while
introducing a recording of an interview (with a professional radio and TV announcer named Barry Silverman*) intended to be part of its time for being "on the air" that day (he said the segment was "taped"; as for what it was about, it was about a festival in Mobile named the Mobile Jewish Film Festival).
(*the announcer used to be a radio announcer and director of programming for a couple of radio stations based in Mobile named WABB-AM and WABB-FM)
