(
note: a paragraph originally intended for this report was added and a parenthetical sentence (near the bottom of the report itself) explaining one of the paragraphs all ready in it was clarified)
- The news presenter for the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV this Sunday (Andrea Ramey on "Local 15 News at 5 p.m.") referred to a news service normally used by their local news operation over the past year ("Circa"*) as their "new news partner" while attributing a news report to the service on the program.
- The main broadcast channel for WALA-TV had the same theatrical movie
("2012") that was part of its programming last Sunday on the eighth day of this January (during the hours of 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 12:00 p.m.) 24 hours after it was part of the programming of the one for WFNA-TV this past Saturday on the fourteenth day of this January (during the hours of 12:00 p.m, 1:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m.).**
- The news presenter for the local news program that usually appeared on the
main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the hour of 5:00 a.m. on Saturdays in recent times (Chad Petri on "WKRG News 5 This Morning: Saturday")
said one of
the features of the edition of the program that appeared on the channel
on the Saturday of the thirty-first day of last December (it was
named "Remember This?") was in honor of a recent video game for
computerized telephones and tablet computers ("Super Mario Run") while introducing it as part of that edition (it was a profile of a TV program based on the
main character for the game (Mario Mario) named "The Super Mario Bros. Super Show").
(*Circa and WPMI-TV were members of the same holding (or "parent") company (the
Sinclair Broadcast Group))
(**WALA-TV and WFNA-TV were members of separate holding companies (the
Meredith Corporation and
Media General respectively) with separate owners and operators)
