- A video recording of an interview with a professional radio and TV announcer from
southwest Alabama (Barry Silverman) originally broadcast on a local TV
program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles ("Studio 10") this
past Wednesday on the eleventh day of this January was uploaded onto the
official World Wide Web site for its station (WALA-TV) after that
broadcast.
- One of the weather reporters for the local news operation at WKRG-TV
(Melissa Constanzer) said she was "wrong" about Mobile having
a "record" high temperature this past Friday on the thirteenth day of
this January while presenting a weather report on the local news program that appeared on their main broadcast channel during the hour of 5:00 a.m. this Saturday ("WKRG News 5 This Morning: Saturday").
- One of the digital sub-channels for the Alabama
Public Television station licensed to serve Mobile (WEIQ-TV) started having programming for a new TV programming service named PBS Kids sometime between this past Friday and this Saturday (it usually had a message about it having such programming for the first time next Monday on the sixteenth day of
this January; as for its radio frequency and virtual channel numbers, they were 41-2 and 42-2 respectively).
