(note: the name of a report published here earlier this calendar week was corrected (it was originally named "News for Monday, January 16th, 2016" by mistake))
- The live video stream for WKRG-TV was looping segments of a national network news program that usually only appeared on their main broadcast channel on Saturday mornings in recent times this Saturday (the name of the program was "CBS This Morning: Saturday").
- The brand name of a local news program that usually appeared on the main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV from Monday through Friday mornings in recent times ("Local 15 Today") was used for a special news program it had about stormy weather in their local broadcast area this Saturday (the channel was usually set to have other types of programming during the time period of this special program (between the last two minutes of the hour of 4:00 a.m. and the beginning of the hour of 9:00 a.m.) on recent Saturdays (it was usually set to have paid, syndicated, and network programming during this time period in recent times*)
- The local news program for WPMI-TV mentioned in the previous paragraph
had what appeared to be weather programming from a TV station outside of
their local broadcast area (WDAM-TV in the city of Moselle in the state
of Mississippi).
(*some paid programming appeared to had interrupted some of the special news program for a few seconds at one point)
