- The main broadcast channel for WJTC-TV had an advertisement about how some folks could sponsor a local TV program of theirs ("The UTV44 [High School Football] Game of the Week") its announcer said was to set to return on the Friday of the twenty-fifth day of August for this calendar year (it had a telephone number for them to do so and an announcement about their opportunities to sponsor the program being limited).*
- One of the hosts of a local TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles usually broadcast by WPMI-TV and WJTC-TV in recent times (Kelly Foster of "Gulf Coast Today") had used part of its installment for this Monday to say WJTC-TV and several "sister stations" of theirs "across the [southeast] United States" would have a special program about a series of gatherings expected to occur this calendar week under the name "SEC [Football] Media Days" in their programming plans for this calendar week (according to the guides to the main broadcast channel for WJTC-TV from Zap2it, TitanTV, and TV Guide, they would have it on their main broadcast channel during the second half of the hour of 9:00 p.m. from this Monday to the Friday of the fourteenth day of this July).

(*a digital graphic with the words "Game of the Week' and "pre-game show" appeared in the installment of the local TV program mentioned in the last two paragraphs for a few seconds)
