- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. this Tuesday ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") had one of its news presenters (Bob Grip) say they had wanted to introduce the "newest member" of their "family" (news operation) before its other news presenter (Lenise Ligon) said this person (named Bri MacNaught) was their "newest sports reporter*" and that they had been "tweeting" about her "all afternoon" before proceeding to introduce her (she had called her by the nickname "Bri Mac" immediately after doing so (to which she said, "I'll take it")).**
- The person introduced on the local news program mentioned in the previous paragraph talked about lacrosse being her "main sport", her hope for having more of it in city of Mobile in southwest Alabama, and that she had loved football since she "grew up" in what she had called "the south" immediately after her introduction before the first news presenter mentioned in that paragraph expressed gratitude of her joining their news operation, to which she had thanked him for his doing so.***
- An administrator for a Facebook page attributed to WAVH-FM had posted a message there dated for this Tuesday about a section of a World Wide Web site attributed to them having a section with some recordings of some candidates for one of the positions of representing the state of Alabama in the Senate of the United States being interviewed on some of their local radio programs ("Mobile Mornings" and "Midday Mobile") along with some details about them and other candidates for the position.
(**she appeared in a different segment of the program from the one with her introduction after one of its breaks (it had her introducing video of what she said was first report in Alabama (it was related to sports))
(**the same news presenter did another introduction for her in a video streamed onto a Facebook page attributed to their news operation after the broadcast of the program (you may access the video of his doing so by setting the video to point -2:22))
