News for Monday, July 24th, 2017

A recording of a local news program (and some advertisements between its segments) that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. this past Sunday on the twenty-third day of this July ("WKRG News 5 at 5") was uploaded onto a YouTube channel attributed to WKRG-TV.

Some video of news report attributed to a national cable TV and satellite TV programming named the FOX News Channel appeared distorted (its elements appeared thinner than they actually were) on the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. this past Sunday ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.").

The news presenter for the local news program mentioned in the first paragraph (Ashley Knight) had attributed one of its news reports to a reporter for a local TV station outside of the TV market for southwest Alabama without mentioning the name of the station (the name of the reporter was Jenna Hiller; the name of the station was KSAT-TV in the city of San Antonio in the state of Texas).
