- Some local broadcasters in southwest Alabama appeared to had been honored by an awards program usually officiated on a year basis by a company specialized in providing news and information based in southwest Alabama named Lagniappe (they were referenced on a World Wide Web page about the program; under the word "media").
- A local TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles that usually appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV on a regular basis recent times ("Studio 10") had a segment dedicated to a plan of theirs to have students of kindergarten and grades one through five in their local broadcast area audition for chances to present weather reports for one of their local news programs between Monday and Friday.
- Some video of what appeared to be a local TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles that usually appeared on the main broadcast channels for WPMI-TV and WJTC-TV on a regular basis in recent times ( "Gulf Coast Today") from a perspective other than the ones used in the making of it appeared to had been streamed onto a Facebook page attributed to one of its hosts (Jake Dunne) at the time it was set to appear live on the channel for WPMI-TV (during the second half of the hour of 12:00 p.m.) before the one for WJTC-TV could have it in the form of a recording later this Wednesday (during the second half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. for this Wednesday).
