- The programming feed for WAVH-FM had an advertisement about a plan for it to have a special program from an organization named
the Fisher House Foundation when it was usually set to have two local radio programs from Monday through Friday in recent times ("Mobile Mornings" during the hours of 6:00 a.m., 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., and "Midday Mobile" during the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.) on the Tuesday
of the fourth day of this July in honor of it being a national holiday
in the United States named Independence Day.
- A local radio program usually broadcast by WABF-AM during the hour of
8:00 a.m from Monday through Friday in recent times occasionally had an
interview about news in southwest Alabama and the profession of news
reporting with a member of a company
specialized in six publications based in southwest Alabama (Cliff
McCollum of Gulf Coast Media) in recent times (some recordings of those
interviews were uploaded onto a World Wide Web site attributed to WABF-AM;
as for the name of the program that had them, it was "Community Contact").
