News for Friday, July 24th, 2015

• The son of the one of the hosts for WALA-TV's local entertainment and lifestyle program ("Studio 10") appeared with him on the program this past Thursday, July 23rd (the name of the host was Joe Emer; the name of his son was Eli Emer).  

• The aforementioned local entertainment and lifestyle program had video of a live ceremony for two new sporting goods store in Mobile this past Thursday between 9:45 a.m. and 9:50 a.m. (the names of the stores were Dick's Sporting Goods and Field & Stream).

• The weather reporter for WKRG-TV's local morning and midday news programs for Monday through Friday (John Nodar of "WKRG News 5 This Morning", "WKRG News 5 at 9:00", and "WKRG News 5 at Noon") had his pet (a dog named Buddy) appear on today's edition of the midday news program during one of its weather segments and during its closing segment.
