• An advertisement for a position in reporting both news and weather for WPMI-TV on Saturdays and Sundays on a regular basis dated July 15th, 2015 (last Wednesday) was posted onto one of the official World Wide Web sites for the holding company (or parent company) for WPMI-TV (the Sinclair Broadcast Group).

• One of the hosts for WALA-TV's local entertainment and lifestyle program ("Studio 10") used the last segment of its edition for today to promote an effort to help the mother of a former news reporter of theirs get a new set of lungs due to her own lungs being incapable of producing enough oxygen for her to live and the illness preventing them from doing so (the name of the host was Joe Emer; the name of the reporter was Qwesi McCray).

• The digital guides to the main broadcast channel for WFNA-TV within their broadcast signal and the World Wide Web sites Zap2it, TitanTV, and TV Guide still had the name of a syndicated program that used to be part of their regular programming plan for Monday through Friday prior to last Tuesday, July 14th, in spite of it being replaced by another syndicated program by then (the name of the program that was replaced was "The Cosby Show"; the name of the program that took its place was "Gimme a Break!").
