• According to WKRG-TV, they had a plan for having one of the syndicated TV programs in their companion station's regular programming plans for Monday through Friday replaced by next Monday, July 13th (the name of the station was WFNA-TV; the name of the program was "The Cosby Show"). 

• According to WPMI-TV, they were set to have special programming about a fishing tournament expected to occur near Orange Beach, Alabama (the tournament would be called the Blue Marlin Grand Championship of the Gulf Fishing Tournament) during time periods in which they usually had local news programming this Saturday, July 11th (they would have it between 5:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. and between 10:15 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.). They would still have local news programming during those time periods, but only during their first halves (between 5:00 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. and between 10:00 p.m. and 10:15 p.m.).
